K/mentertainer January 28, 1967

Hot air balloon makes the cover again this week, with articles by Brian Lord and William F. Williams featuring their caricatures from the past. John Ravencroft talking about the next single by the Beatles might be a song called Strawberry Fields Forever. It's possible! Also a possibility of Jimmy Page leaving the Yardbirds. I guess that didn't happened, or the Yardbirds wouldn't have gone to the New Yardbirds to Led Zeppilin

Both K/MEN and KFXM agreed on the #1 record this week The Rolling Stones Let's Spend The Night Together/Ruby Tuesday. Highest newcomer to the top 10 this week Niki Hokey-P.J. Proby. This week on KFXM dropped down to #32. Big difference. New song listed here Break On Through-Doors---their debut single.

It was my pleasure to ride in the tethered balloon with "the Prophet" that Saturday on one of the last flights of the day.

Somewhere I've got a photo of the balloon basket with the KMEN sign I took with my Polaroid Swinger.
